Labor Unions

Unions were necessary and important, especially during the early part of the 20th century. Securing benefits and improving working conditions are important but the pressure of continued wage increases proved detrimental in many cases.  I am pro union but I feel they may have become too greedy and powerful. Thirty dollars an hour is nice, but think about what that does to the cost of the goods you are producing. It also made the decision easy for companies to out source jobs or leave the country all together.
