Guns

I am a firm believer in the 2nd amendment.  I do however support limitations on automatic weapons. The right to own guns for protection, hunting or simply for enjoyment is fundamental. I do feel that in today’s world, no one should be allowed access to a weapon that fires 1000 rounds per minute.  Think of the damage of just one gunman at a large public gathering.  Do not misunderstand what I mean or listen to the rhetoric of the NRA. I have no hidden agenda to slowly take away guns. Let’s be realistic.  We try to prevent Iran from having nuclear weapons because that is too dangerous. Same logic applies here. It is fine to own guns. It is irresponsible to allow deranged individuals access to machines capable of so much destruction.
